Lawyer and graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Białystok. He gained local government experience in the Bielski Poviat Council, where he served as councilman for four terms (1998 - 2014). In the years 1998–2002 he was a member of the Bielski Poviat Office Management Board. In 2006 he worked in the office of the Minister of Agriculture, Krzysztof Jurgiel. In the years 2006 - 2010 he worked in the Poviat Office of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture in Białystok, and then at the office of the ARMiR in Bielsk Podlaski, which he has managed for several years since 2016
