Associate Professor at the University of Warsaw Faculty of Geography and Regional Development and a member of the Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning at the Polish Academy of Science. For years, he has been cooperating with regional and local self-governments. He co-created, among others strategies of the Warmian-Masurian and Podlasie voivodships. He was a key expert in the process of preparing the Warsaw 2030 strategy. He was also the manager of six projects funded by the National Science Center. Currently, he advises the management of the Podlasie, Warmian-Masurian and Greater Poland Voivodships in the works on the fourth generation strategies.
